Day has been a feature writer for ''The Observer'' since 2007 and has written three novels. ==Early life== The daughter of a doctor,〔Sue Leonard ("The dark side of Day" ), ''Irish Examiner'', 5 February 2011〕 Day was born in the south of England, but raised in Northern Ireland.
